Using YouTube, Display, and Spotify, we reached 1.4 million customers to raise awareness for ongoing projects in the region.
United Utilities provides water services to millions of people in North West England. But its work goes beyond just providing water, meter readings, and bill management. United Utilities is committed to managing water holistically and minimising the impact of human activity on the environment. To do this, United Utilities uses Catchment Systems Thinking – CaST, for short.

Our job was to help raise awareness for this important work, so we needed a strategy that would reach, educated and engage United Utilities' millions of customers.
We do
Our strategy was based around three clear goals: easy to understand, interesting to read, and engaging across platforms.
By hyper-targeting campaigns using a paid and organic content strategy, we were able to boost awareness for both small- and large-scale projects to deliver quality water and environmental benefits to the region.
We measure
By the 9-month mark of the 13-month campaign, we had helped generate a huge number of impressions and engagements across social media.
